Above: Newspaper clipping for Lucky Millinder from June 1943. Note the reference to Judy Carroll. Was this the same Judy Carol who fronted The Basin Street Boys (Exclusive 215, 1946)? Also note it was his "Stomping At The Savoy Orchestra" at that time.

Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Annisteen Allen, Paul Breckenridge, and Bullmoose Jackson were also featured vocalists with Millinder's orchestra.
