Behind him at the microphones are (L-R) David Patillo, Jimmy Springs, Richard Davis, Louis Wood, Oscar Moore (guitarist), Herman Wood, Leroy Hurte, Charles Hopkins, and William Bartley. These were members of The Five Jones Boys and The Four Blackbirds (without their female singer) joined together. Patillo and Springs later were part of The 5 Red Caps.


Above: Label for Recordings Incorporated B-5607 recorded circa 1937. This is a Radio Dub... both sides are different versions than Decca 1439, which they recorded on 9/7/37. The label states "Instrumental Imitations Vocal and Guitar".
