Among others, he was with Miles Davis, Benny Carter, Bernie Green, Paul Gayton, and Tab Smith. As The Teddy Brannon Quartet, he backed Dinah Washington on at least four sides. He may also have been The Blenders' arranger/pianist in 1950 (ref: Marv Goldberg's article "The Blenders").
