Above: 1953 photo of The Harptones (L-R) Billy Brown (bass), William "Dicey" Galloway (baritone), Claudie "Nicky" Clark (tenor), William Dempsey James (tenor), Willie Winfield (tenor), and (Bottom) Raoul Cita (pianist, composer, arranger). The 1955 lineup on Paradise 103 had Bernard "Jimmy" Beckum (see photo below) in place of Galloway.

Above Left: Label image of Paradise 103 recorded in June 1955 (flip side recorded in August 1955). Willie Winfield sings lead on this side, while Jimmy Beckum does the honor on the flip. This is the second of two releases by The Harptones on the Paradise label (1955), a subsidiary of Old Town Records. This side was also issued with the title "My Success (It All Depends On You)" (see 45-rpm label below left). Note that this 78-rpm's labels have the "A" and "B" sides incorrectly reversed.

The Harptones also recorded for the Bruce (1953-54), Andrea (1956), and Rama (1956) labels, as well as many later labels.
