Willie Dixon (at left in photo) had been with The Five Breezes and The Four Jumps Of Jive prior to Big Three Trio. Leonard Caston (center) was in The Five Breezes group also.

Above: Label image of Delta JB 202 recorded on 5/4/49. A different version of "Don't Let That Music Die," recorded on 12/16/49, was released on Columbia in early 1950.

The Delta label, located in Nashville, was owned by Jim Bulleit. He released three records by Big Three Trio on Delta, all in 1949. These were soon after he had sold his interest in the Bullet label, where he had a couple of Big Three Trio releases in 1947.
