Above: Full page clipping from Billboard Music Yearbook 1946. National, located in New York City, was operated and owned by Albert B. Green. Herb Abramson, Lee Magid, and Bob Shad had stints as A&R men. Morty Shad was Sales Manager. Abramson later owned Jubilee and Atlantic Records. Magid later owned Central Records. Bob and Morty Shad later owned Sittin in with, JAX and Harlem Records.
