The Basin Street Boys were from Los Angeles and consisted of Ormonde Wilson (lead singer), Gene Price, Artie Waters, and Reuben Sanders. An article in the California Eagle dated 9/12/46 indicates that they were previously known as The Mellotones. We know that Steve Gibson, who had an earlier Basin Street Boys group, gave Ormonde Wilson permission to use the Basin Street Boys name.

Written on photo: "To Conchita From Smitty Alto sax", "To A Grand Person 'Conchita' Sincerely, Ormonde", and "to you 'Niki'- the very best always to you and yours You're really 'fun' people Always Your Boy - Mifflin PeeWee Brantford". So, other than Ormonde Wilson (top right), cannot determine who is actually in this photo.
